Friend or foe: Symbiotic bacteria in Bactrocera dorsalis-parasitoid associations

This study describes the effects of bacterial symbionts (Lactococcus lactis, Providencia alcalifaciens and Citrobacter freundii) on the interaction between Bactrocera dorsalis and three distinct parasitoid species (Diachasmimorpha longicaudata, Fopius arisanus and Psytallia cosyrae) which are possible biocontrol agents of this pest.
